Amar Khan holds  a PhD specialising in latent space multispectral visual odometry and a Bachelors and Masters degree in mathematics. He is currently the world’s foremost expert in combining vision in multiple modalities such as thermal and visual (normal vision and night vision) for pose estimation. Formally employed as a scientist in the Defence Science Technology Lab (DSTL). Amar Khan has developed the abilities to test the technical feasibility of novel technology and develop it up to proof of concept. Amar has also learnt to improve existing technology and reverse engineering tech. The initial patents cementing the company’s position as the industry leader, where all created by Amar in his field of expertise.  Amar’s passion for life long learning is developing into a fascination with biology and has led to the founding of BiologyX.
